Refund policy

If IngredientCalculator Pro is not what you expected, ask for a refund and you will get one.

What you bought

IngredientCalculator Pro is $79, paid once. You get a key that unlocks the paid tools at /pro/, plus the Kitchen Pack, a zip file with five kitchen tools that run in your browser with no internet, a printable PDF reference, and the ingredient data as a CSV file and a JSON file. It is delivered straight away. The key and the download sit on the welcome page at /welcome/ the moment payment clears, so you have the files before you have decided anything.

The policy

30 days from the purchase, no questions asked. Email lipmichal@gmail.com and say the word refund. There is no form, no reason required, and no attempt to talk you out of it.

You keep the files. Asking for them back would be theatre, since they were on your machine within a minute of paying, and the point of the policy is that buying should not feel like a risk. The Pro key is a signed token your own browser stores, so after a refund I simply ask that you stop using it.

How long it takes

I aim to action refunds within two working days of the email. The money is returned by Stripe to the payment method used, and how quickly it appears is up to your bank, which is usually a few working days after that.

The Gumroad guide

Baking by Weight is sold through Gumroad rather than through the checkout here. Email me about that one and I will issue the refund from Gumroad instead. Same promise, same address, slightly different button on my end.

EU and UK buyers

Consumer law in the EU and UK normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Digital content is an exception once you have started downloading it, but this policy is deliberately more generous than the law requires, so the 30 day promise above applies regardless.

Free tools

The calculators on this site are free, so there is nothing to refund. If one gives a figure you believe is wrong, please tell me. I would rather fix it than leave it.
